Azure Release Train Engineer/Scrum Master (Azure)

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate Agile Release Train events such as PI Planning, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt workshops.
• Remove impediments and provide servant leadership that reinforces team readiness, ownership, and mission-focused delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Management, System Architecture, Engineering, and cross-functional partners on objectives, priorities, and timelines.
• Manage program-level risks, dependencies, and issues while monitoring delivery metrics and improving velocity, flow, and predictability.
• Manage backlogs, workflows, dashboards, and reporting in Azure DevOps and support planning involving Azure cloud services.

Requirements

• Current Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, or in a similar Agile delivery role.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Boards, Pipelines, and Repos, plus working knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe RTE, or other Agile certifications.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Azure landing zones, cloud modernization programs, or multi-team Agile environments in enterprise settings.
