Senior IT Project Manager - Cloud

What you will do

• Lead enterprise cloud modernization, migration, infrastructure, platform, and application initiatives through planning, deployment, release, and operational handoff.
• Define project charters, scope, requirements, deliverables, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and budgets.
• Coordinate Government stakeholders, cloud architects, engineers, DevSecOps teams, cybersecurity personnel, application developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Manage project risks involving security, migration, integration, performance, cost, schedule, and technical dependencies.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, demonstrations, retrospectives, release planning, and dependency management.
• Report project progress, risks, issues, decisions, and performance metrics while supporting customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Top Secret Clearance; SCI access may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, project management, information technology, engineering, or a related field; significant related experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of project management experience, including enterprise IT projects, Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps, and at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• 5+ years managing cloud migration, modernization, infrastructure, application development, or other cloud transformation projects.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or comparable enterprise cloud platforms, and with cloud architects, engineers, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and application development teams.
• Experience in IT service management and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a business or technical field.
• FAC P/PM, PMP, cloud, or IT service management certification.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, TFS, or Azure DevOps.
• Federal Government or highly regulated secure-environment experience.
