(USA) Operations Manager - Floor (Logistics)

Location: Williamsburg, Virginia, United States

Salary: $84,000–$126,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Implement the area business plan by setting goals, managing staffing and schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor productivity through business reports and analysis while working toward production, quality, and safety goals.
• Maintain logistics and company standards by ensuring training, policy compliance, and accurate procedures and documentation.
• Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns by determining corrective actions and making recommendations.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop associates and leaders, including supporting hiring and promotion decisions.
• Drive collaboration, integrity, customer-focused decision-making, learning, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and at least 1 year of relevant supervisory operations experience, or 3 years of relevant operations, distribution, logistics, or retail experience.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors across multiple departments or areas.
• Experience managing workloads and participating in employee hiring and promotion processes.
• Walmart Logistics Area Manager experience may satisfy the alternative qualification path.
• Successful completion of all required trainings and assessments is required.

Nice to have

• Financial modeling and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and profit and loss accountability.
• Experience managing challenging workforce issues and supervising associates.
• Background as a Walmart Logistics Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, logistics, management, or operations management.
