What you will do

• Set Canva's IT strategy and translate business priorities into a technology roadmap.
• Lead and develop high-performing IT teams, establishing direction, capability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Build workforce technology covering onboarding, device management, tools, access, AI, automation, and collaboration across global campuses.
• Use data to measure service quality, prioritise work, identify risks, and communicate progress to executive stakeholders.
• Represent IT in organisation-wide forums and advocate for strategic investment and alignment.
• Own high-priority initiatives and ensure delivery remains on track.

Requirements

• Experience leading internal technology functions at meaningful scale.
• Proven ability to build high-trust relationships with executive stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Ability to set a vision, build teams to deliver it, and maintain quality while scaling.
• Commercial understanding of how technology decisions connect to financial and business outcomes.
• Experience leading through others and creating conditions for teams to perform effectively.
