Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Worldwide; remote work or work from one of the offices. Relocation support is available to hubs in Cyprus, Serbia, Spain, or Georgia.

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team across hiring, planning, task decomposition, performance, and delivery management.
• Drive AI-powered products from business and product hypotheses through production launch.
• Own reliable, on-time delivery aligned with product and business goals.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, AI, and business stakeholders on scope and prioritization.
• Shape the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable backend services and integrations.
• Measure released hypotheses and scale or discontinue initiatives based on results.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams, including hiring, development, performance management, and delivery.
• Experience leading teams in AI, ML, or data-driven engineering environments.
• Strong hands-on development background and the ability to independently review architecture and validate technical decisions.
• Experience building user-facing AI products, such as assistants, recommendations, or intelligent features, from concept to production.
• Experience running A/B tests and translating ambiguous business or product requirements into technical priorities.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher for collaboration with an international team.

• Experience training machine learning models.
