Engineering Manager (Fullstack)

What you will do

• Lead, grow, and develop a small senior full stack engineering team and set its technical direction across backend services and customer-facing web experiences.
• Own the enterprise customisation surface, including terminology, glossaries, style rules, style profiles, translation memory, sharing, and administration.
• Define product experiences with product and design partners, challenge the brief, and prioritize improvements that increase customer trust and adoption.
• Reduce configuration and onboarding complexity so administrators can manage customisation confidently.
• Partner with research colleagues to bring adaptive, context-aware personalisation from prototype to a trusted product with transparent behavior.
• Collaborate across research, product, design, platform, identity, and go-to-market teams to turn customer needs into engineering priorities.

Requirements

• Experience managing engineers working on a customer-facing B2B product.
• Experience defining user experience and product decisions closely with product and design teams.
• Strong technical background sufficient to contribute to design discussions with experienced engineers.
• Experience improving adoption or engagement metrics, not only delivering product capabilities.
• Comfort leading a full stack team across backend services and customer-facing web development.
• Based in London or willing to relocate there, with availability to work from the office two days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with terminology management, translation memory, localization workflows, or enterprise administration features such as sharing, roles, and entitlements.
