Sr Engineer, Software

Location: Remote across the United States; travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required as business needs require.

Salary: $111,800–$176,100 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, maintain, and continuously improve software.
• Implement technology strategies for software delivery teams through reusable components, patterns, and tooling.
• Translate product concepts into frequent, high-quality project commitments that deliver incremental customer value.
• Influence engineering practices through code reviews and hands-on design sessions.
• Mentor software engineers and contribute to long-term strategic goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of coding experience with JavaScript or .NET Core, with the ability and willingness to learn new languages.
• Understanding of testing automation, code reviews, telemetry, iterative delivery, and DevOps.
• Experience with at least three of continuous integration and delivery tools, REST API development, serverless architecture, containerization, infrastructure as code, public cloud, observability, or messaging and stream architecture.
• Experience delivering applications using componentized and distributed architectures.
• Understanding of formal architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and openness to innovation, including AI.
