What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and ship production-grade solutions that scale across multiple hirify.global services.
• Provide technical leadership through mentorship, pairing, and code reviews; ensure maintainable, extensible code and quality standards.
• Own system health and quality, including participation in rotating on-call and live incident response.
• Design and implement APIs enabling integration between software components.
• Lead testing strategy, define success metrics, and incorporate customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Improve security and operational excellence for hirify.global Actions, including isolation mechanisms for untrusted code and building monitoring/alerting/runbooks.

Requirements

• Location: Remote within the United States
• 9+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent), with proven production delivery and coding experience in languages such as Go, Ruby, Rust, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, or Java.
• Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule providing 24/7 coverage for 1–2 weeks each quarter.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
• 3+ years using general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Go or Ruby).
• 3+ years using scripting languages (e.g., Bash or Python).
• Experience building or operating CI/CD systems at scale.
