Advanced Manufacturing Process Engineering Intern, Junior (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Essex Junction, Vermont, United States; onsite at Fab 9

Salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Sustain and run the fabrication floor while resolving equipment and process issues.
• Establish and manage equipment quality control plans.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve throughput, reduce costs, and support yield learning.
• Define and maintain equipment installation process qualification plans and roadmaps.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize manufacturing processes for performance, yield, reliability, stability, and cost of ownership.
• Lead an assigned intern project through completion and present the results at an end-of-year poster session.

Requirements

• Be a junior at the time of application and actively pursue a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field at an accredited institution.
• Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency is required for written and verbal communication.
• Be able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Perform all activities safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, or competitions.
• Project management, innovation, execution, and ambiguity-navigation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, and Design of Experiments.
