Branch Customer Service Representative - Charleston/Mt. Pleasant (Customer Service)

Location: In-office at the SC-Charleston Car Care Plus branch, 1733 US-17, Mt Pleasant, South Carolina; the description also references Portage, Michigan.

Salary: $19.00–$21.50 per hour, based on experience, plus incentives and annual performance bonus potential.

What you will do

• Greet and support members while promoting and selling membership, travel, select banking, insurance, and other AAA products.
• Generate leads, share promotions, provide travel information, and make outbound promotional calls.
• Respond to member inquiries, resolve complaints, and refer complex issues to senior staff, agents, or management.
• Process payments for policies, travel products, tickets, and travel money products while balancing the cash drawer.
• Provide administrative support to travel and insurance sales staff and help meet branch goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment and ability to provide timely, helpful solutions.
• Strong judgment, ownership, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning workplace technology.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately and work in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work on site, with Monday–Friday hours of 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and possible rotating Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.; irregular hours, holidays, weekends, and community events may be required.
