HSE Training Manager

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; on-site. Up to 25% travel is required to support training delivery, gap analysis, and collaboration across the business.

Compensation: $120,000–$145,000 annually plus bonus and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Translate technical, regulatory, health, safety, and environmental content into clear training materials for a diverse workforce.
• Apply adult learning principles and select effective formats, including video, instructor-led training, eLearning, job aids, and hands-on practice.
• Analyze training gaps and maintain learning plans as regulations, equipment, and processes evolve.
• Build and administer HSE learning plans, assignments, and due dates in WorkRamp, Workday Learning, or a similar LMS.
• Develop reports and dashboards covering training progress, completion rates, and compliance status.
• Collaborate with HSE subject matter experts and business teams to improve training effectiveness and consistency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in training, learning and development, or instructional design.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, safety, communications, or a related field.
• Experience designing training for adult learners and translating technical content into effective learning experiences.
• Fluency with health, safety, and environmental topics and terminology.
• Hands-on LMS administration experience, including learning plans, assignments, and reporting.
• Strong cross-functional, verbal, written communication, data reporting, and dashboard-building skills.

Nice to have

• Training and development certifications such as CTT+.
• Direct experience with WorkRamp or Workday Learning.
• OSHA 10/30 or other HSE-related certifications.
• Experience supporting distributed or varied workforces across multiple locations, remote teams, or field teams.
