Electrical Designer II

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States. Monday through Thursday are onsite; Fridays offer flexibility based on work requirements. Occasional travel may be required.

Annual base salary range: $49,400–$69,755. Compensation type: exception hourly.

What you will do

• Design and document electrical systems for water-cooled and air-cooled chiller products using computer design and product lifecycle management systems.
• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and supporting product documentation.
• Document parts and bills of materials.
• Lead small segments of larger projects and complete assigned design work.
• Identify and correct design errors and potential design problems.
• Support product manufacturing, product updates, product training, safety, and security requirements.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Design, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro/Engineer, CAD, or AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of design and drafting standards, methods, and processes.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in La Crosse, Wisconsin, with Friday location flexibility.
