Presales Solutions Engineer - Network

Location: Remote in the Houston, Texas area, United States

Salary: $120,000–$230,000 annual pay range, including base salary and bonus

What you will do

• Support account teams, customers, and go-to-market initiatives as a network subject-matter expert.
• Evaluate customer network, data center, cloud, security, and infrastructure environments.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with customer objectives and budgets.
• Act as a trusted IT advisor for customers and partner with Field Account Executives.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline, develop prospect strategies, and identify new technology opportunities.
• Build technical relationhirify.globalps with OEMs and strategic partners, and deliver product and solution training.

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of route/switch, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud edge, virtual networking, secure access, and network visibility.
• Intermediate expertise with Aruba, Juniper, HPE, Arista, and similar networking solutions.
• Experience with software-defined networking, including SDDC, SD-WAN, SASE, and SSE.
• At least 2 years of experience with Cisco switches, routers, wireless, Nexus, and Meraki products, plus familiarity with Cisco Commerce Workspace.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• Ability to travel to hirify.global, partner, and customer events; advanced certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP, CASX, or ACSP are listed.
