Solutions Engineer (Networking & Security)

Location: Remote in Canada

Salary: $201,000–$268,000 CAD OTE annually, including base salary and variable compensation tied to quarterly sales targets.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and close commercial customer opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery, solution architecture, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Guide complex deals involving multiple stakeholders and align technical and business objectives.
• Provide structured feedback to influence the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
• Build scalable enablement resources, demonstration environments, and solution blueprints for the Solutions Engineering team.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of experience in a customer-facing Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect role within networking or security software.
• Experience co-owning pipeline and influencing quota outcomes with Sales.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of zero-trust networking, secure connectivity, and IAM integrations such as SSO, SAML, and OIDC.
• Understanding of AI gateway and governance platforms, plus privileged access management concepts such as session recording and just-in-time access.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools and cloud architecture on AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PAM platforms such as Border0, CyberArk, or Teleport.
• Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment.
