Lead DevOps Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Own the Kubernetes platform, including GKE workload standards, deployment models, multi-zone resilience, resource limits, and safe failure modes.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows with rolling deployments, canary releases, and rapid rollback capabilities.
• Establish secure-by-default practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and runtime environments.
• Build actionable observability with meaningful alerts and self-service dashboards.
• Lead and mentor platform engineers while anticipating future platform needs.

Requirements

• Experience building and operating cloud-native platforms at scale.
• Strong Kubernetes and containerized-workload experience.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, plus CI/CD and GitOps-style delivery.
• Deep understanding of high availability, fault tolerance, scaling strategies, and secure infrastructure design.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems.
• Production experience with AI, ML, or LLM workloads and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with Istio or similar service-mesh technologies.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes Gateway API or modern ingress patterns.
• Experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, or managed cloud data services.
• Background in industrial, field-service, or other asset-heavy domains.
