Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Based in any of the U.S. offices in Century City, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Orange County, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C.

Annual compensation: $140,000–$180,000, depending on qualifications and operational considerations.

What you will do

• Build and maintain reusable developer platforms, self-service tooling, CLIs, libraries, templates, and internal portal capabilities.
• Develop reliable CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, release workflows, and evaluation-based quality gates for AI systems.
• Provision and operate cloud and on-premises infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps environments.
• Support AI infrastructure for model gateways, retrieval, document ingestion, tool calling, and agent orchestration.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and GenAI telemetry for latency, cost, token usage, tracing, and quality regressions.
• Participate in on-call operations, incident reviews, security automation, secrets management, and platform support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, infrastructure, or software engineering.
• Production-quality coding proficiency in Go and Python, with PowerShell or Bash, Git, pull requests, code review, and automated testing.
• Experience with pipelines-as-code using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform, Ansible, or Helm, and familiarity with GitOps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and Kubernetes/Docker, plus familiarity with observability tools and basic SRE practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; experience with business-critical systems is expected.

Nice to have

• ITIL, Lean, or Agile experience.
• AWS or Azure Associate certification, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
• Experience in professional services, legal, or other regulated environments.
