Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of DevOps workflows for cloud-native applications and enterprise infrastructure.
• Automate development and operational processes using Terraform, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• Design cloud solutions aligned with technical priorities and guide the adoption of AWS, DevOps best practices, and emerging cloud technologies.
• Define and maintain best practices for application deployment, infrastructure maintenance, and cloud service management.
• Mentor development teams, prioritize work, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate directly with client product, engineering, and other stakeholders throughout discovery, delivery, and technical decision-making.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps engineering, including 5+ years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform, and extensive experience with AWS cloud-native architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with CloudFormation, CDK, Helm, legacy application migration, and system modernization.
• Knowledge of cloud security tools and services, including AWS IAM, HashiCorp Vault, and CyberArk.
• Experience with AWS Aurora, DynamoDB, serverless architectures, and AWS Lambda.
• Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go, with Python preferred.
• Exposure to AI infrastructure and agent tooling, including AWS Bedrock, LLM gateways, LangChain, and AI coding assistants.
