Senior Java Developer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Develop backend applications using recent Java versions and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and software solutions based on established design patterns.
• Work with SQL databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases.
• Use Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• Communicate with French-speaking stakeholders and prepare high-quality written deliverables.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of proven experience in Java backend application development.
• Advanced Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and design patterns.
• Solid SQL and NoSQL database experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and unit and integration testing.
• French at C1 or C2 level, written and spoken, and fluent English are required.
