Platform/Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; hybrid work environment requiring 50% in-office

What you will do

• Maintain Windows-based servers and middleware application environments.
• Install and administer operating systems and middleware software.
• Analyze middleware inefficiencies and resolve technical issues.
• Initiate projects and prepare project plans.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems during and outside regular working hours when required.
• Provide technical instructions, training, leadership, and mentoring to support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Experience administering Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience installing and administering enterprise software.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other productivity software.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure and M365 experience.
• ITIL or similar methodology experience.
• Microsoft certification.
• Scripting technology experience.
• Experience with Citrix, VMware, MS Exchange, or SQL Server administration.
