Systems Administrator - Deploy Only (Aerospace)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; hybrid or office environment. Requires extended OCONUS deployment on an approximate 60/60 rotation, international travel, and the ability to work extended hours, holidays, and shifts.

What you will do

• Design and implement advanced configurations for complex systems.
• Optimize system performance and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Implement security protocols and manage system compliance.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and issue resolution for mission-critical systems.
• Coordinate system upgrades, modifications, testing, and documentation.
• Oversee data handling, conversion, and storage solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree; 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Advanced understanding of network and system security protocols.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Must be able to deploy to OCONUS operating locations, meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements, pass a pre-deployment medical assessment, and hold a valid passport.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and troubleshooting skills; ability to lift 25 lbs regularly.

Nice to have

• CISSP or equivalent certification.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Advanced PowerShell or Python scripting skills.
• AWS, Azure, or related cloud and systems administration certifications.
