IT Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Niwot, Colorado, United States. Hybrid position requiring at least 3 days per week in the office in an office, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.

Salary: $95,000–$142,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, migrate, manage, and optimize Microsoft Azure environments across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and cloud-connected networking.
• Manage cloud data, protection, identity, device management, modern workplace, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and availability, respond to incidents, and manage escalated cloud infrastructure issues.
• Develop automation and integrations using Bash, PowerShell, Python, and cloud platform tools.
• Support information security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Collaborate with IT specialists and cross-functional teams while maintaining documentation, configuration, inventory, licensing, and onboarding processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in IT systems engineering or a related role.
• Proven experience managing networks, servers, Azure cloud services, Windows Server, VMware, storage, firewalls, and routed and switched environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Defender XDR, and network security.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• AZ-104, AZ-305, SC-300, and MS-100 certifications, plus ITIL certification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work onsite at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing software experience, including Autodesk or AutoCAD.
• Zscaler and zero-trust solutions experience.
• Knowledge of Poly, Crestron, and AMX room AV systems.
