IT Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Niwot, Colorado, United States; hybrid with a minimum of 3 in-office days per week

Salary: $95,000–$142,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, migrate, and manage Microsoft Azure environments, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and cloud-connected networking.
• Operate and optimize on-premise compute, networks, storage, Windows Server, VMware, and cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor highly available systems, respond to incidents, and manage escalated cloud infrastructure issues.
• Administer identity, endpoint, security, and workplace technologies including Entra AD, Conditional Access, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Defender XDR.
• Develop automation and integrations across cloud platforms using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, ITSM processes, documentation, compliance, and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in IT systems engineering or a related role, including network and server management.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, Intune, Microsoft technologies, network architecture, troubleshooting, and IT security.
• Practical experience with firewalls, switches, routers, wireless bridges, Linux systems, routed and switched environments, and network security.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with PowerShell and Python; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• English communication skills required; AZ-104, AZ-305, SC-300, MS-100, and ITIL certification or equivalent experience are required or expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zscaler and zero-trust solutions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing software such as Autodesk or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Poly, Crestron, and AMX room AV systems.
