Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Onsite in Ft. Lewis, Washington, USA; regular driving between construction sites and occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $75,756–$123,760 per year.

What you will do

• Manage construction programs, budgets, schedules, delivery orders, contract requirements, and project closeout.
• Define project requirements through site visits, existing-condition reviews, statements of work, and client needs.
• Prepare detailed estimates, quantity take-offs, unit-price-book entries, and pricing for non-scheduled work.
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor proposals, coordinating buyout and site visits.
• Coordinate project schedules with superintendents, customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Engage existing and prospective customers to identify solutions, improve service, and grow framework-agreement business.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in construction with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Experience managing multiple projects, subcontractors, and vendors simultaneously.
• Proficiency in fixed-price estimating and RS Means or comparable published unit-price books.
• Strong negotiation, communication, collaboration, adaptability, resource-management, and mentoring skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is highly desired.
