What you will do

• Manage and evaluate the performance of Field Construction Managers for electric substations and transmission lines projects.
• Monitor outsourced construction companies for safety, quality, schedules, and budget adherence.
• Develop and evaluate contracts and agreements to optimize project execution.
• Coordinate construction schedules across functional areas and provide constructability feedback on electrical, mechanical, and civil standards.
• Lead risk identification and mitigation plans during planning and execution phases.
• Ensure compliance with CIP, FERC, NERC, and other regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive electric utility industry experience.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to construction sites daily.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
• Experience in Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro, or OSG.

Nice to have

• Five years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
