Construction Administrator

Location: On-site in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Frequent travel to client meetings and project sites is required.

What you will do

• Represent owners, contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders during the construction phase.
• Attend construction meetings for MEP and FP disciplines and prepare written meeting reports.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct construction observation activities while directing discipline-specific specialists and engineers.
• Review design documents for constructability and quality control.
• Lead design cost-estimating development and maintain project control documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change requests, proposal requests, and pay applications.
• Conduct client meetings independently and support construction reviews of MEP and FP systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project construction management or installation of MEP/FP systems.
• Experience with projects ranging from $500,000 to $150 million, including new construction and renovations of occupied facilities.
• Experience with institutional clients such as state agencies, colleges and universities, public-sector organizations, laboratories, and manufacturing facilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, supervisory, customer service, and independent working skills.
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when required to meet project deadlines.
• Must be able to work in the United States, drive to project sites, and hold a valid driver's license. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Newforma is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Certified Construction Manager, CCM, or equivalent certification.
