TL;DR
Associate Principal - Quality Engineering (AI): Building and maintaining end-to-end automation for analytics tracking, APIs, SDKs, mobile applications, and connected TVs with an accent on data quality, GenAI-enabled frameworks, and reliable CI/CD execution. Focus on developing agentic automation, applying RAG-based context grounding, containerizing AI utilities with Docker, and analyzing failures across the software delivery lifecycle.
Location: Hybrid in Mexico City at Paseo de la Reforma 250, Col. Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, Ciudad de México 06600
Rate: Up to $40 USD/hour

The role supports Paramount Streaming’s Data Insights Group and Measurement Operations team in delivering reliable analytics and measurement solutions.
What you will do
- Prioritize and automate testing for tracking libraries, analytics APIs, SDKs, mobile applications, and connected TV platforms.
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and peer-review end-to-end automation scripts and frameworks.
- Convert test cases into reusable scripts and enable self-service automated testing for the wider team.
- Validate data collection and data quality, identify tracking gaps and inconsistencies, and troubleshoot implementation issues.
- Automate testing with real and simulated devices, document results, and create detailed Jira defect reports.
- Mentor QA engineers and act as the automation point of contact throughout the SDLC.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Programming experience with JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with test planning, execution, automation, and acceptance testing in an Agile environment.
- Hands-on experience with Claude and relevant GenAI applications for refactoring, self-healing, maintenance optimization, test generation, and failure RCA.
- Experience with Docker and a CI/CD integration mindset.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, creative-thinking, and technical explanation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and mobile or connected TV testing using ADB and Xcode.
- Experience with proxying tools such as Charles, Wireshark, Chrome DevTools, or BrowserMob.
- Knowledge of tag management tools such as Tealium or Adobe Launch.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Adobe Analytics.
