Location: Primarily Guadalajara, Mexico (hirify.global office or assigned local partner contract manufacturer sites)

What you will do

• Collaborate with contract manufacturers (CMs) and production engineers to set up and support automated system testing and board test cells.
• Extend the company's automated tests platform, including the development of a GUI for test execution and result review.
• Maintain and extend modular functional diagnostics and APIs for hardware testing.
• Automate Linux workstation setup and maintenance.
• Drive technical solutions from rough requirements through to implementation and production.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, Unix/Linux, and shell scripting.
• Experience with SERDES, ASICs, FPGAs, DDR3/4, I2C, SPI, ENET switches, Optics, and PCIE.
• Ability to read board schematics and design functional board tests.
• Experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Must be based in or work from Guadalajara, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with liquid-cooled computer systems.
• Experience with high-density Optical and Network test processes (Infiniband, RoCE V2).
• Knowledge of testing high-density press-fit backplanes.
• Advanced proficiency with Linux administration and software development tools.
