What you will do

• Ensure the team understands acceptance criteria, tracks daily progress, and delivers assigned stories by end of sprint.
• Increase velocity through automated testing and API testing for complex applications and scenarios, including locating and documenting edge cases.
• Assess risks and propose modifications to acceptance criteria; define and execute test strategies from technical specs and source-to-target mappings.
• Lead QA planning and provide sprint review insights using testing plans, metrics, and actionable recommendations.
• Serve as a technical SME during sprints and coordinate with delivery leads on priorities, allocation, and risks.
• Conduct recruiting interviews and analyze candidates to support hiring/contracting.

Requirements

• Location: Remote work is available only for candidates living in Mexico, Colombia, or El Salvador.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in relevant technology/projects, including leading and executing automated testing across the software development lifecycle.
• Advanced ETL testing experience with strong T-SQL skills for testing ETL processes, KPIs, metrics, and reports across relational and dimensional data models.
• Hands-on SQL/Data Warehouse testing experience, including Microsoft SQL Server (database, SSRS, Power BI).
• Proven ability to design and execute test strategies and write test scripts from technical specs and source-to-target mappings; catalog defects with clear, actionable detail.
• Experience presenting to client stakeholders and communicating technical and business value.
