Team Lead, Software Development (Fullstack)

Location: Office-based in Calgary, Canada; occasional Tier 3 after-hours support and collaboration across global time zones required.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and allocate work across a software prototyping team.
• Build and maintain the Labs portal and GCP-based cloud infrastructure for high-performance computing.
• Deliver complex research prototypes from concept through implementation.
• Provide technical and architectural guidance while evaluating security, functional requirements, and trade-offs.
• Manage medium-scale project lifecycles, prioritization, and development risks.
• Collect customer feedback and transition successful prototypes into commercial products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including senior full-stack roles.
• At least 1 year of formal or informal team leadership experience.
• Senior-level full-stack expertise, GCP cloud capabilities, and familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work autonomously, influence stakeholders, manage projects, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
