IT Operations Manager

Location: New York, hybrid

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Operate and improve the Mac fleet through MDM, including configuration profiles, zero-touch enrollment, custom scripts, and remediation; manage the supported Windows footprint.
• Own the CMDB, asset data, ITAM vendor relationship, procurement, hardware shipments, deployments, and collection workflows.
• Manage vendor contracts, renewals, license true-ups, and SaaS and hardware agreements.
• Administer and govern Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other core SaaS tools, including provisioning, settings, groups, and access hygiene.
• Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance through access reviews, rigorous offboarding, and evidence collection.
• Maintain runbooks and process documentation, support change management, contribute to IT projects, and handle escalations from IT Support.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years in IT, including substantial experience in senior operations, systems, or infrastructure roles.
• Deep hands-on experience with Iru, Jamf Pro, or a similar cloud MDM, including configuration profiles, zero-touch enrollment, and scripting.
• Bash scripting for macOS management and familiarity with Windows MDM.
• Strong day-to-day Okta administration experience, including application integrations, groups, access management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ITAM or CMDB ownership, inventory reconciliation, vendor management, SaaS administration, and clear documentation.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls, including access reviews, offboarding, and evidence collection.

Nice to have

• Experience with Iru specifically or launching an MDM from scratch.
• Jamf, ITIL, security, or compliance certification.
• Experience with HITRUST, NIST 800-171, Okta Workflows, automation tooling, or AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience building IT processes at a fast-scaling startup.
