Manufacturing Engineer (Service)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; onsite work at the Engineering Support Services facility with travel to hirify.global production sites across the U.S. and Canada up to 25%.

Salary: $88,000–$100,000 annually, plus eligibility for commission or an annual performance incentive plan.

hirify.global provides printing, finishing, packaging, and conveying equipment and supports production operations through its Engineering Support Services team.

What you will do

• Build, assemble, fabricate, and test prototype and production equipment using engineering drawings and specifications.
• Operate and maintain manual and CNC mills, lathes, saws, drill presses, grinders, and hand and power tools.
• Wire, terminate, troubleshoot, and validate electrical panels, control circuits, sensors, motors, PLCs, drives, and HMIs.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, perform functional testing, debugging, fine-tuning, and acceptance testing.
• Travel to production facilities for equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance support, and troubleshooting.
• Develop maintenance programs, technical documentation, safety compliance practices, and technical training for technicians and operators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3 years of experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Knowledge of lean methodology, project planning, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, fabrication, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, or industrial controls.
• Strong project management, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SAP or similar operating and manufacturing systems.
• Financial analysis skills and experience supporting capital projects, vendor coordination, and acceptance testing.
