What you will do

• Report and write quickly when news breaks and pursue longer-term enterprise stories.
• Edit copy and produce accurate, clear, and engaging journalism.
• Create multi-format stories using photography, video, graphics, audio, design, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with colleagues across a large newsroom to produce impactful coverage.
• Choose a preferred reporting assignment area, including breaking news, features, futures, international, local, national, politics and government, or Well+Being.

Requirements

• Must be a college junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled in a degree program by noon Eastern time on October 9, 2026.
• Demonstrated conventional news coverage and a strong interest in enterprise reporting.
• Clear, concise, energetic writing skills.
• Creative, inventive, or investigative reporting ability.
• Commitment to accuracy, clarity, and journalistic rigor.
• Submit a résumé, an autobiographical essay of no more than 500 words, and no more than three clips explaining the role in each story.
