What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain modern automated cloud environments.
• Define and uphold development, operations, coding, and engineering best practices.
• Productionize new cloud technologies and introduce relevant industry practices.
• Lead by example in DevOps, cloud automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud operations.
• Support the growth of the DevOps team through recruiting, mentorship, and Agile practices.
• Create professional architecture and engineering documentation, including ADRs, repository documentation, and Confluence content.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa or work authorization sponsorship.
• 6–10+ years of cloud engineering experience, including 3+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering and 2+ years of software development.
• Strong AWS and cloud engineering knowledge, including networking, EKS/ECS, WAF, Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM.
• Proficiency with Terraform or CDK, Python, Bash, Ansible, Helm, Make, Git, source control, and CI/CD.
• Experience implementing security, disaster recovery, high availability, and reliability engineering standards.

Nice to have

• CDK experience with Python or TypeScript.
• AWS Control Tower, Organizations, SCP, and Config experience.
• Java, Go, JavaScript, or frontend/backend software experience.
• AWS or cloud certifications.
• Harness CI/CD or GitHub Actions experience.
