Principal Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Lead the transition from legacy and manual deployment processes to automated DevOps workflows.
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines across development, QA, and production environments in AWS.
• Create and maintain cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform.
• Design reliable continuous deployment solutions that improve availability and uptime.
• Optimize resource utilization, operational costs, and capacity across cloud and on-premises services.
• Diagnose environment issues, support Dev and QA throughout the software development lifecycle, and participate in 24x7x365 operational rotations.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, or an equivalent field; an M.S. is highly desirable.
• 8+ years of experience driving CI/CD for systems deployed to cloud providers, with strong AWS operations experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a 24x7x365 global SaaS/PaaS operation.
• 8+ years of experience with virtualization and Docker containers.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, batch, or bash.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Helm, Spinnaker, Octopus Deploy, SonarQube, Terraform, and AWS services.

• Experience designing complex systems that combine legacy and modern technologies.
• Knowledge of operational readiness, code quality, security best practices, and vulnerability management.
• Experience providing training, documentation, and knowledge transfers.
