Sr. Payroll Analyst

Location: Hybrid, based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $78,251–$102,705 USD base pay annually, plus performance-based bonus and/or equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Process U.S. biweekly payroll and off-cycle payments, including bonuses, equity, benefits, deductions, garnishments, and other payroll transactions.
• Process employee changes such as hires, rehires, terminations, compensation changes, and leaves of absence.
• Manage Workday Time and Absence activities, including timecard exceptions, overtime, shift differentials, and leave impacts.
• Run payroll calculations, investigate variances, resolve discrepancies, and respond to payroll inquiries.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and prepare payroll, accounting, benefits, and headcount reports.
• Maintain SOX controls, support internal and external audits, and assist with federal, state, local, multistate tax, and year-end W-2 activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of U.S. payroll experience, preferably in a complex or global organization.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Workday Payroll, Time, and Absence experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, reconciliations, deductions, compliance, and U.S. federal, state, and local tax requirements.
• Experience with SOX controls, payroll audits, reporting, and strong Excel skills.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through Form I-9 and E-Verify.

• Experience with RSU and equity payroll.
