Staff HR Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote based out of Santa Clara, California, Austin, Texas, or Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Compensation: $100,000–$170,000 annual total compensation, including base and variable compensation targets

What you will do

• Build trusted HR reporting, scalable analytics products, and actionable insights for HR leaders and executives.
• Develop the BI tooling environment and create intuitive Tableau dashboards.
• Improve HRIS and ATS source-data quality and resolve data logic issues upstream.
• Deliver analytics through traditional BI, conversational AI query interfaces, and lightweight custom web pages.
• Partner with HRBPs, recruiters, and executives while helping non-technical stakeholders use data confidently.
• Establish scalable data governance as the business grows.

Requirements

• Approximately 4–6 years of experience in HR or people analytics.
• Hands-on SQL skills, familiarity with HRIS and ATS data structures, and spreadsheet modeling in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Proven experience creating Tableau dashboards that stakeholders use and adopt.
• Ability to explain complex technical details in clear, accessible language.
• Interest in building modern data products with BI, conversational AI tools, and simple web pages.
• Must be based remotely out of Santa Clara, Austin, or Toronto; access to U.S. export-controlled technology is subject to applicable export-law eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, or GitHub.
• Lightweight web or scripting skills using Python, Apps Script, or HTML/CSS.
• Workforce planning experience.
