Senior User Experience Researcher (Travel)

What you will do

• Lead UX research initiatives from objectives and project planning through execution, delivery, and follow-up.
• Conduct and oversee mixed-methods research, including surveys, moderated and unmoderated interviews, usability testing, and diary studies.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into clear insights, implications, and strategic recommendations for Product and Design.
• Manage multiple research workstreams, prioritize competing needs, and maintain the research repository and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Content, Partnerships, Data, and Analytics teams across product squads.
• Help establish the standards, operating practices, and culture of a new in-house UX Research function while mentoring newer researchers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UX research, consumer insights, or a related field.
• Independent experience leading mixed-methods research and producing research deliverables with minimal oversight.
• Ability to synthesize findings into strategic recommendations with clear implications and actions.
• Experience working directly with Product and Design teams in an agile environment.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
• Comfort reading dashboards and incorporating quantitative metrics into research.

Nice to have

• Experience in loyalty, travel, or credit cards.
• Experience building or working in early-stage or evolving research functions.
• Experience with 0-to-1 product development.
• Familiarity with UserTesting, SurveyMonkey, Dscout, or similar research platforms.
• Familiarity with SQL or similar tools for independently exploring data.
