Product Lifecycle Management Engineer (PLM)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Own the technical operation of enterprise PLM platforms, including PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, and performance-tune PLM environments.
• Operate high-availability and disaster-recovery capabilities for PLM platforms.
• Manage PLM integrations, brokers, middleware, and CAD integration patterns.
• Partner with functional, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver a reliable, performant, and secure PLM ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. work eligibility required: U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or H-1B transfer candidates.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of PLM platform administration experience, with six or more years of overall experience preferred for the position.
• Production experience with PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter and strong PLM upgrade and migration experience.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database administration and strong Linux/Unix administration skills.
• Experience with PLM HA/DR, integration middleware, scripting, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience operating PLM platforms on AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience for PLM environments.
• PTC or Siemens PLM certifications.
• Experience with CAD integration patterns at scale.
