Quality Inspector – Civil & Structural (LNG Project)

What you will do

• Inspect civil, structural, architectural, and concrete construction activities throughout the LNG project lifecycle.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, codes, client requirements, Inspection and Test Plans, and method statements.
• Inspect earthworks, foundations, reinforcing steel, formwork, concrete, anchor bolts, structural steel, grouting, buildings, utilities, drainage, roads, and paving.
• Witness concrete, soil compaction, structural steel, welding, and other quality verification activities.
• Review certificates, testing reports, inspection records, quality documentation, punch lists, and turnover records.
• Document non-conforming work, initiate NCRs, support corrective actions, and coordinate quality issue resolution with construction, engineering, survey, subcontractor, and client representatives.

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of quality inspection experience on LNG, petrochemical, refinery, power generation, industrial, or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction, structural steel erection, concrete placement and testing, soil compaction, earthworks, reinforcing steel, foundations, grouting, and mechanical completion.
• Working knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASTM, AWS structural welding requirements, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Ability to interpret civil and structural drawings, survey reports, foundation layouts, reinforcement and fabrication drawings, specifications, and ITPs.
• Experience preparing inspection reports, punch lists, and quality records, with strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Direct LNG project experience.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician, AWS Certified Welding Inspector, ICC, NICET, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with large equipment, LNG tank, and pipe rack foundations, as well as heavy industrial structural steel systems.
• Familiarity with electronic quality management systems and turnover databases.
• Experience supporting EPC, EPCM, or owner-led projects.
