Master Electrician, Facility Services

Location: Onsite at Walmart Supercenter 00284, Mansfield, Texas, United States

Hourly wage: $35.00–$70.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, repairs, and replacements for facilities, equipment, fixtures, and electrical systems.
• Install and repair electrical panels, breakers, switches, outlets, lighting systems, and conduit.
• Diagnose complex electrical issues using blueprints, manuals, catalogs, tools, and testing equipment, and design solutions for large-scale repairs or modifications.
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes, including NEC, as well as OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Lead and mentor Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians, provide technical training, and review work quality.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts, contractors, documentation, vehicles, and an on-call rotation approximately every 4–6 weeks.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the electrical trade; Master-level experience is preferred.
• Licensed Master Electrician in good standing or equivalent in the state of work.
• License in a related trade in the city and/or state of work.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Ability to operate, inspect, and maneuver heavy machinery and powered equipment safely.

Nice to have

• Completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software.
