Chargeback Analyst II (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage chargeback cases from merchant notification and documentation review through dispute representation and outcome communication.
• Apply the rules and regulations of Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Pin Debit.
• Handle escalated calls and cases from Level 1, including pre-arbitration and arbitration matters.
• Manage communications with merchants and sales offices through incoming calls and emails.
• Train new team members on daily chargeback tasks.
• Perform daily settlement activities, including incoming cases, aging, resolutions, and departmental balancing.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or an Associate’s degree with no experience required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Ability to analyze information, make sound decisions based on card-brand regulations, and respond professionally to stressful calls and emails.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience in chargebacks or a related field.
