What you will do

• Review and evaluate credit risk for commercial businesses seeking equipment financing from $10,000 to $500,000.
• Interpret commercial and consumer credit reports and make sound credit decisions within delegated authority.
• Analyze business financial statements and tax returns to assess financial condition and repayment capacity.
• Underwrite transactions according to credit policies, audit procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform fraud checks and due diligence, and qualify equipment dealers and collateral for financing.
• Prepare credit approval summaries and collaborate with Sales, Credit, and Senior Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related business field.
• 3+ years of related experience, preferably in small business financing or leasing.
• Strong understanding of business tax returns, financial statements, and business concepts.
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite and Excel skills, with strong computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, high-volume transaction environment.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
