Accounting Associate (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage the procure-to-pay process in Ramp, including purchase requests, vendor agreements, and renewal notifications.
• Support employee reimbursements and expense management programs.
• Develop and maintain payroll analytics and reporting for stakeholders.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized financial records and provide audit support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable management and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience contributing to process improvements and system optimization.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and solve problems using a data-driven approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ramp or similar accounts payable and expense-management platforms.
• Experience scaling payables operations in a high-growth fintech environment.
• Knowledge of RIA compensation models and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls.
• CPA certification or experience at a Big Four firm.
