General Manager

Location: On-site in Elmira, NY, supporting service operations around Chemung County

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 base salary, excluding equity or variable pay where applicable

What you will do

• Manage daily on-site operations for hirify.global’s service around Chemung County.
• Prioritize real-time operational issues for drivers and dispatchers and develop scheduling solutions for a round-the-clock team.
• Manage, mentor, coach, and develop dispatchers, shift managers, and drivers.
• Build relationships with driver partners, customers, community leaders, local organizations, senior management, and external partners.
• Define team metrics, track weekly performance against KPIs, and prepare operational reports.
• Analyze data, allocate resources, improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as an operations manager.
• At least 3–5 years of experience managing and developing teams, including support teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, delegation, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, changing environment with a high level of responsibility.
• Commitment to delivering a world-class customer service experience.
• Successful completion of a drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check is mandatory for employment.
