General Manager, St. Louis Market (Manufacturing & Logistics)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; onsite in the office every day. Remote candidates will not be considered. The role includes visiting local businesses each week for less than 25% of working time.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations of the St. Louis market and oversee its P&L.
• Drive revenue growth, business development, market-entry strategy, and marketing initiatives.
• Build target lists, cultivate strategic accounts and partnerships, and manage the CRM process.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and develop the local team while planning organizational capacity.
• Resolve operational issues and collaborate with other market leaders on go-to-market strategies.
• Provide product-market feedback to product management and technology development and support public events, interviews, and workshops.

Requirements

• Direct experience working with or advising logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.
• Leadership experience with teams, cross-functional projects, or organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to select, hire, coach, and develop team capability.
• At least 5 years of professional experience after university; 8 years of work experience is considered ideal.
• Strong communication, analytical, detail-oriented, and results-focused skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to work in the office every day.

• Entrepreneurial experience, site startup experience, or independent leadership of a project, group, or organization.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training or certification.
