Senior Principal, Technical Program Management - Regulatory Compliance

Location: Remote - US; not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, CA, or surrounding areas. Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.

Salary: $188,240–$235,000, $199,280–$249,100, or $221,360–$276,700 annually, depending on location. Ranges apply to specified US states and districts; compensation in other locations is discussed during hiring.

What you will do

• Translate strategic compliance priorities and regulatory requirements into technical requirements, roadmaps, operating models, and executable programs.
• Establish portfolio management frameworks, reporting rhythms, and decision-making practices across compliance leadership.
• Act as a technology partner to Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, SVPs, and executive stakeholders on critical compliance initiatives.
• Anticipate risks and priorities, guide investment and mitigation decisions, and drive alignment across the company.
• Lead cross-functional regulatory compliance delivery across globally distributed teams.
• Improve audit and evidence processes for R&D while maintaining certifications and enabling product innovation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of global regulatory frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX and their relationship to business and product strategy.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs and delivering outcomes in ambiguous environments.
• Strategic and operational mindset with the ability to balance planning and hands-on execution.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-influence skills across all organizational levels.
• Experience managing large programs across globally distributed teams and promoting innovative compliance-management concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience leading company-wide transformations such as major cloud migrations or foundational compliance platform re-architectures.
