Head of Solutions Engineering, EMEA (AI)

Location: EMEA region, with frequent travel across EMEA to support customers and team members.

What you will do

• Lead the technical pre-sales strategy and execution for complex regional deals in partnership with Sales and regional leadership.
• Build, recruit, mentor, and scale a distributed Solutions Engineering and Solution Architecture organization across EMEA.
• Own the technical discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concept, pilot, deployment, and production-success lifecycle.
• Define repeatable pre-sales processes, tools, enablement programs, and go-to-market playbooks.
• Represent the platform and technology capabilities to executives, technical stakeholders, customers, partners, and industry forums.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate customer insights into roadmap discussions and feature design while driving pilot conversion, utilization, revenue influence, and adoption.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting, including 4+ years in leadership.
• Experience building and scaling technical pre-sales or customer engineering teams across multiple markets.
• Strong foundation in cloud architecture, enterprise infrastructure, and API-driven products.
• Hands-on ability to build prototypes and guide technical teams.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, data platforms, and modern model deployment practices.
• Willingness to travel frequently across EMEA; strong executive presence, cross-functional collaboration, and commercial judgment are required.

Nice to have

• Background in AI infrastructure, ML operations, or applied data science.
• Experience across enterprise, government, and startup ecosystems.
• Understanding of regional AI, data, and privacy regulations.
• Experience launching new markets or scaling teams during rapid growth.
• Experience developing enablement content, demonstrations, and go-to-market playbooks for technical teams.
