Maintenance Manager (Fashion, Import, Jewelry, Regional, Returns, Sam's, Wm.com)

Location: Sharon Springs, NY, United States

Salary: $104,000–$156,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead daily maintenance operations in a distribution or fulfillment facility and maximize equipment uptime.
• Manage maintenance for material handling, electrical, pneumatic, air compressor, ammonia refrigeration, automation, and building infrastructure systems.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs and implement improvements that reduce downtime and improve productivity, quality, and safety.
• Manage staffing forecasts, maintenance budgets, operating expenses, capital expenditures, facility assets, and performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, hazardous waste, stormwater, and other applicable regulations.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, technicians, and hourly associates while partnering with suppliers, contractors, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Experience leading maintenance operations in a distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, facility assets, and maintenance budgets or capital projects.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, automation, and material handling systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other applicable safety and environmental regulations.
• Associate's degree or equivalent technical certification plus at least 1 year of relevant leadership experience, or at least 3 years of experience in a maintenance or related technical environment with supervisory and staffing responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, team development, data analysis, and operational improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Facility maintenance, material handling equipment, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, P&L accountability, project management, recruiting, and talent development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, logistics, management, or operations management.
