Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office; candidates must live close to one of hirify.global’s designated IT locations: Louisville, KY; Tampa, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Dallas/Frisco, TX; Boston, MA; Washington, D.C.; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Chicago, IL; or Charlotte, NC.

Salary: $104,000–$143,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Oversee complex IT system projects and programs from initiation through completion.
• Assemble and lead project teams, identify resources, and develop delivery schedules.
• Coordinate concurrent technical initiatives and manage interdependencies between related projects.
• Build stakeholder partnerships, provide executive-level communication, and mitigate project risks.
• Set program strategies and lead execution to deliver long-term business value.
• Make technical approach decisions and influence departmental strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of IT project management experience.
• 3+ years delivering concurrent complex technical initiatives end to end.
• 1+ year of experience with technical product selection, design, and IT solution implementation, preferably in healthcare, finance, or another highly regulated industry.
• 3+ years of SDLC project management experience.
• Excellent communication and executive-level stakeholder management skills, with the ability to analyze ambiguous situations strategically.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration.
• Experience with data warehouse, decision support, and reporting environments.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jira Align, executive information systems, and statistical software packages.
• Knowledge of development languages, tools, and utilities.
• Six Sigma or Project Management Institute certification and experience in the health solutions industry.
