Senior Engineer, Integral Safety & Testing (Automotive)

What you will do

• Analyze emerging topics affecting safety and regulatory affairs.
• Prepare technical and strategic input for regulatory inquiries, federal processes, standards, voluntary commitments, and research activities.
• Develop technical comments for rulemaking and support rating and compliance tests.
• Prepare responses to rating agency inquiries.
• Conduct benchmark studies and support communication and outreach events.
• Act as a regulatory liaison and interface with local and federal US regulatory officials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies, agency staff, policymakers, or similar stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently, multitask, adapt quickly, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
• Valid US driver’s license required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; authorization to work in the United States is required.
