Senior Analytics Engineer (Data)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Hybrid arrangement with telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week; office attendance is required at 3 World Trade Center on other days.

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 gross per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and enhance complex financial data models and analytical pipelines using Airflow and dbt.
• Transform and analyze large-scale datasets with SparkSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Develop and maintain analytical models, metrics, datasets, and data processing solutions for downstream reporting.
• Create reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools with Tableau and Looker.
• Partner with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to translate data requirements into analytical solutions.
• Produce financial insights, forecasts, and models while maintaining analytical code in Python, Java, and YAML.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Data Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or a related analytics role.
• At least 3 years of experience with large-scale data transformation and analysis using SparkSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• At least 3 years of experience with SQL, Python, and YAML, plus data processing, cataloging, and metadata management.
• At least 3 years of experience building data models and pipelines with Airflow and dbt.
• At least 3 years of experience creating BI reports and dashboards with Tableau and Looker and working with non-technical stakeholders.
